I graduated from Towson University, Towson, Maryland in 2010 and since then I am working as a research technician in University of Maryland, Baltimore in a genomic lab conducting research in DNA replication initiation. I adjust to the student/learner as I am told or discover their learning preferences. However, in my experience and research, I have noticed that active learning and discovery-based learning are arguably most effective mechanisms for knowledge retention.
