Hands on- creative-student centered learning!

I think that a lot of learning happens by students being actively engaged in what they are learning. I try to get/make hands on activities for students to learn.

Specializing in English, Spanish, and Elementary help!!

I like to be presented with the material at hand and evaluate what the child/student knows before I dive in. After this initial assessment, I take more of an interactive approach. I constantly offer feedback and guide the student in reaching the correct answers without just giving them away. If the problem calls for drawings or manipulatives, I utilize these resources to the fullest.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Social Studies : I helped teach a couple of the 5th grade classes at Washington Elementary School.

I am almost finished at Cleveland Community College with my teacher degree in childhood education for children with special needs.
