My comments on tutoring Saxophone : I am a classically trained saxophonist, fluent on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. I have been teaching private lessons for the past four years and am currently the baritone saxophonist for the Real Time Sax Quartet.

My teaching style is focussed around a very supportive environment. I reinforce every players individual strengths while consistently pushing students to face and conquer their deficiencies. I believe whole-heartedly that any student can achieve a very high level of success in music with hard work and the right guidance. I understand all the different ways students learn and I am well aware of all the challenges that come with any level of music/musician. I hold myself responsible to see that every student of mine achieves the most they can while simultaneously having great musical experiences along the way.

I studied education at Montclair State University for 4 years but I have a always been a teacher. From leadership roles in high school to corporate training, I have a talent for being able to boil subjects down to their basics and provide true understanding. I enjoy teaching children, students of all ages and those willing to learn. As a high school student, I was involved in inner city teaching and I helped hartford students in their studies after their school. I appreciate higher education and I truly understand what it takes to teach as I myself teach my own children with their homework from their own schools after they come home.
