Recently began tutoring elementary level math and reading, and am loving it. I have found that I thoroughly enjoy working with the children, and find it very rewarding, and enriching. I have also learned that students are more engaged when it's a subject matter that they care about. Of course it's not realistic that this will always be the case. I am currently enrolled in highschool but I tutored many of my cousins for the past several years so I'm great with young kids! Graduate student looking to help students achieve their goals!

I have tutored children off and on since I was in high school. More recently, my time has been spent volunteering with The Giving Tree, where I tutored inner-city children after school and helped organize activities (museums, zoo, etc.) on the weekends. I am currently in the final stages of my dissertation for a doctorate in psychology, so I am always actively learning, too.
