I have a extensive background with teaching and implementation in education. My most current position was the Executive Director of School Improvement and Sales. I have experience analyzing data, working with teams to improve student achievement using research based interventions. I have experience from Elementary to College level.
I believe that all students have the ability to learn but not in the same way and on the same day. It takes work, but a teacher needs to find what works best for each student to learn. It is essential to utilize the multiple intelligences as well as theories on how boys and girls learn differently. I work well with parents and students, breaking down barriers and working within the parameters that work best.

In December 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. In addition, I have also earned certification in Early Childhood Education (P-5). Last Spring, I was a substitute teacher for PreK-5th grade classes. I am currently a paraprofessional in a Kindergarten classroom at S. L. Mason Elementary School in Valdosta, Georgia.
