In the nine years of my graduate and undergraduate education, I have been a teacher, tutor and mentor. As an undergraduate, I was the math and science tutor for student athletes; I helped students to successfully complete Algebra I & II, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. This week I am graduating Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy NY with a degree in computer and systems engineering. For the past four years I have been working at NASA and our nations leading research institutions to gain a strong background in computer and systems engineering. I began tutoring as an undergrad student working for the college's academic support office tutoring math and science courses. After graduating cum laude with a BA in Mathematics, BS in Meteorology, Physics minor, and Secondary Education certification, I went straight into teaching. For the next 8 years I was a jr high and high school math and science teacher.
