I have taught Anatomy and Physiology at the college level so I know the kind of questions that will be asked on exams and can teach you what to focus on. I can give you practice exams. I have tutored in Biology and focus on my student's needs. I got a 33 on the MCAT without studying much and I can teach you how to do that too.
I am focused on getting you to understand the material such that you can answer multiple choice questions easily. I focus on test prep. I like to use examples in real life to help you understand. If one example doesn't work, I use others. I prefer to use animations to get you to understand.

A Little Bit About Me...

My strongest suit in my teaching style is probably the many ways that I would approach teaching a certain principle. If the student does not understand one way to approach a problem, I try to best to help them understand and learn another way. I feel like since everyone learns differently, a tutor should approach a problem from as many angles as possible. My teaching style is also very patient. I suppose the saying "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime" would apply to my style. I try to make sure the student understands the principles behind the type of problem and not just how to do the one problem. I have experience teaching at a university as a Teacher's Assistant in chemistry. The classes would meet before a test and discuss the analytical techniques of the course. I am currently teaching an Anatomy and Physiology course for nurses looking to pass the RN liscensing exam. My approach to teaching is centered around the particular goals of the student or students. Clearly, a course centered around a liscensing test will focus on the material that will be on that test. Otherwise, teaching has to be catered to the student's ability to learn the material and focus on the weakness in understanding the concepts involved in the material.
