My comments on tutoring Special Education : I am a special education teacher with 26 years of experience at every level from pre-K to high school. I have taught students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD,dyslexia, and severe and profound handicaps. I have a vast knowledge of approaches and techniques that work with special education students. I am also bilingual, fluent in Spanish. My goal is to help students succeed in learning and in gaining confidence. My teaching style is to get the student engaged through multi-sensory and high interest sources.
