Before I graduated from college, I had experience as an editorial cartoonist for the Ranger at San Antonio College for one semester, lab monitor at Texas State for a year (my first tutoring job), and I interned for the Mighty Group in San Antonio for the summer semester. Drawing is one of my top subjects! Through my years of attending college I have a background in fashion illustration, and fashion sketching.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. Throughout my junior high school and high school years I worked closely with the editor of the school newspaper as a writer, and with the yearbook committee taking classes in journalism and photography. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.
