While pursuing an undergraduate program in Biology, I was fortunate to join the peer mentoring program at my school. As a peer mentor, I tutored in General Chemistry 1 and 2 for two years. I made counseled and guarded my peers in my area of study I also tutored in calculus 1 for a program by the division of science called City College Academic for Professional Preparation (CCAPP). I later tutored in statistics for the premedical office at my school.
I love teaching because it provides an opportunity for both teacher and student to learn new things. I also believe that by applying appropriate teaching styles, the most difficult subject can be very easy to the students. I believe in getting students involved in their studies by making it fun.
