Effective teaching requires goal-setting and patience on the parts of both the instructor and the student. We are a team! I am simply there to facilitate their education. Most of what I teach is enhanced by my approach to helping the student learn. I seek to ask them to "teach" me by offering questions to them. This has proven very effective once the foundational background is established. Teaching is my passion. My teaching style is to first evaluate the extent of the student's knowledge in the specific subject area and then start from the beginning and brush up, filling the gaps in knowledge. I work quite well with non-traditional learners and use props when I need to. Sometimes I find that this is the best approach for visual learners. I always look for alternative ways to teach a subject, if I need to. There is, after all, more than one route to the market.

It is both amazing and fulfilling for me to utilize my education and communication skills to assist both children and adults in learning to better understand their subjects in school. I realize that every individual is different and has their own conception of what style of learning works for him or her. I am a very patient, observant, and kind-hearted.
