While attending a small private university in upstate New York, I pursued a degree in Chemistry with a minor in English. I took high school and college seriously. After college I worked for several years before attending law school. After law school I decided to combine my legal experience with hands-on medical skills, and I enrolled in a Registered Nurse program at SUNY Delhi, which I will complete next May. This summer is a lull before completing my education and embarking on a medical administration career.
I believe effective learning can occur in a 1-on-1 tutoring situation when the tutor and the student can communicate well. Tone, mood, and setting all come into play. I attended several schools to achieve my undergraduate degrees, both of which I worked hard to excel at the University level. Attending graduate school at Binghamton University truly prepared me for academia, requiring many research papers and essays as well as honing my knowledge in psychology, the arts, human development, english, and biology.
