My comments on tutoring Sociology : I have taught at the collegiate level in Sociology.

I am a Social Studies teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from an NCATE accredited university that has a rigorous education program. In that program, I was required to teach elementary students, middle school students, high school students, college students, and adult classes. I have been teaching for three years and tutoring for five years. I have taught multiple types of learners in multiple subjects with a significant amount of success.
I am a great speaker, and I can easily relate to my students. I push my students thoroughly to reach their objectives, because I do not believe there is anyone who cannot learn a subject. I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others. I also have experience in teaching or helping coach little league sports educating kids on how to play games correctly. Math teachers are notorious for being vague or teaching solely from text. I believe understanding mathematics does not necessarily make you fit to teach it. I have had great success adapting to a student's language and using analogies to make math come to life. It's a fact that no human likes an activity if they are not good at it, attitude is half the battle; if I can help my student to get better at math, I know they will stop disliking the subject and thereby learn more.
