After graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Rhetoric & English, I gained a year and a half of experience in the field of Public Relations where I further refined my writing and editing skills. I spent two years as a long term substitute with Columbus City Schools. I have always loved working with young people and helping them achieve their potential. I have worked with mainstream and honors students to behavior disorder and severely cognitively impaired youth. I believe there are no throw-away kids and that given the right environment and opportunities, all students can learn. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I have always had a passion for learning and helping others.
