My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am native-fluent speaker. I have done presentations and speeches in Spanish. I had my whole principal studies in Mexico.

I am from Mexico, so most of my experience in these three areas of knowledge. In my chess experience, I've been involved in this awesome game since I was 13. I've participated in many tournaments in my Hometown Matamoros. I represented several times my high school, my hometown, and once my state in a national tournament. I taught children how to play chess in my neighborhood as hobbies because all of my older brothers play chess, so I played with them during more than 3 years and many children got interested. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I worked as a Spanish teacher at the Eden Valley Watkins High School for 7 years and built the program for the school. I work for a trading company and handle the exports to Mexico. I am a native speaker and grammar is a tool for me to teach. I also worked for the Meeker county court system as a translator.

I like to use grammar and all the tools available, reading, listening skills, writting. I think grammar is very important because it helps the student (s) to reinforce ther English grammar. I believe once that you have grammar skills, any other language will be very easy to learn. I like to use as well the web to explore and I would be open to use the material the student (s) are already using at school or at work.
I workd for the Eden Valley Watkins High School for more than 7 years. I build the Spanish program at the High School. I also worked as an ESL teacher for the elementary school at EV-W. I also had a couple of Community classes at Ridgewater College, MN and during the summer time as well for the EV-W children.

I am currently a junior at Minnesota State University, Mankato working towards a BS in Zoology and Spanish. I have been taking Spanish classes since my first year of high school in 2006.
