I taught in a special program tailored to working adults who had returned to school in order to earn their Associate of Arts degrees. This was not an academically confident population. They required enormous encouragement, personal attention, and coaching. As a recent college graduate, I was motivated to study Physics because I find the fundamental nature of the physical world fascinating.
