My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : More than 2 decades of teaching experience.

I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. The traditional teaching style (face-to-face interaction) was blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for a boosted learning environment. Microsoft (MS) Excel 2010, MegaStat 9.1, and SPSS (version 18) were incorporated as technology tools and software support during lecture meetings. I allow the student the time that it takes them in order for them to "get it" without pressuring them. I also like to make the material as simple as possible by teaching in a manner where I like to emphasize understanding as opposed to just being able to do it.
