My main work experience is as a teacher of English as a Foreign/Second Language. From an early age, I was driven to understand cultural differences. For 15 years I taught in a number of overseas countries, including Japan, Korea, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Poland. I taught all ages, ranging from 8 through adult. I taught grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, reading and writing, and lots of conversation, and was responsible for assessing their performance.
