As a graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minored in Chemistry, I received an excellent education. I'm a strong believer in the Gardner's ideas of many different learning styles and types of intelligent. Some students are better audio, tactile, or visual learners. I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to find the best learning style for each student and build on that format through scaffolding.
