Having attended Heidelberg College and receiving a Bachelor's degree in English, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Theater/Communications, I feel I have the necessary experience in order to educate others. Furthermore, I will receiving my Masters degree in English from Tiffin University this spring. As a foster parent, I tutored our first child as he progressed through kindergarten and the first grade. His previous school experience was lacking at best, and he had little confidence in his scholastic ability. I was able to pinpoint his natural aptitude--mathematics--and use it to help not only boost his self-esteem regarding academics, but also to tailor my approach to his other subjects as well.
