A Little Bit About Me...

Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age. I was a nanny for a family of three for a year right after graduating. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to create my own lessons and activities for the children. The description of my teaching style changes with each new class I receive. I am a strong believer in the Multiple Intelligence approach to teaching, as individual students learn in many different ways. In my classroom, expectations are explained at the beginning of each lesson.
