For each student I used to prepare sketches, brainstorms and flashcards. When it comes to math or sciences courses I had a white board for the equations. I like the child to feel comfortable with me to where they are at ease and readily ask questions. I prefer to ask the student leading questions to aide them in coming to the conclusion on their own as opposed to simply telling them information.
