My comments on tutoring Genetics : Genetics was one of my favorite classes as an undergraduate biochemistry major and is an area I am considering attending graduate school to study.

I believe in adapting the teaching style to suit the student's learning style. Teaching English in China, I adopted a practical stance, teaching useful words and grammar and reinforced their reading lessons. The student's learning goals and reason for seeking tutoring should dictate the teaching style, however.
I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language.
