The teaching style I use is solely dependent on the learning style of the student I am teaching. I was always one to seemingly understand or learn things backwards from many of my piers and so I am intimately aware of the importance of knowing how the student learns in order to best go about teaching in such a way that it feels right and natural to the student, boosting their confidence and so promoting additional success in the endeavor. I have been an instructor in the Martial arts for over 20 years, and have taught every age group. I have a talent of putting complex issues into layman’s terms. I have tried to apply a balance of patience and diligence to my teaching. I am always hoping for maximum results but, realize that learning is up to the individual and each person has a different learning experience.
