My approach to tutoring is to first find which specific area is causing each individual problems. Once we work on that area and master the concepts, I will then go back an work with each student to figure out a study strategy that will work for them long term. I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. I worked at this school for two years, before relocating. I then worked with a tutoring service. I tutored elementary students in a private setting (in homes) in reading and math. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that a student who lacks the basic fundamental skills in reading and mathematics will struggle to stay focused in class and continually be disruptive and ultimately stop attending school. My teaching style is consistently accommodating especially to these types of students.
