I worked as a teachers assistant at Pulaski technical college for the head of the Biology department. I held a class that was not required but encouraged by the school to help the students in the biology course prepare for test and answer questions regarding labs. When working one on one with a student I practice a few different methods of teaching and whichever one they feel the most comfortable with and I receive the most attentiveness from, is the one that I continue to use. For example, some students prefer that you walk them through a lesson, go over a few practice problems and then let them work on assignments, knowing that they have you to assist them when needed.
