As a young child I was diagnosed with dyslexia. I have worked hard to to get my degree and have overcome many challenges. Some students need more visual instruction, especially the younger learner or the learner that may have been away from school for a period of time. Some like to work on their own but be guided by instruction, review, question and answer and timed testing to insure that they have mastered a lesson. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Genetics. During college, I taught/tutored 7th graders at a local middle school in the areas of math and science. I was responsible for full lessons as well as small group tutoring and science experiments. I was able to set-up lessons for the children to explain how math and science works together in order to provide data.
