I have been tutoring since I was in high school. Between that and teaching Sunday School and Children's Church, I have more than ten years of experience. I have tutored children whose ages range from elementary school to high school. I have also tutored adults to help with college classes and help prepare for GED tests. I teach the Bible to children whose ages range from newborn to eight years.
This depends on the student and his or her individual needs. I like to find creative ways to make learning more fun for the individual so that he or she will feel more motivated to learn.

Children have the ability to learn in a variety of ways. I learn the appropiate way to aide a student in their studies by observing their technique of solving a problem and helping them explore the problem. I show students how to break down the problem in various ways to help them better understand it. Some students need to work with a tutor on several problems; others may need a song or visual representations to help them understand a problem. I was raised as a bilingual speaker, Italian & English, and was always fascinated by the workings of language. After my discharge from the Air Force in Australia, while studying for a BA in English & History, I began teaching and tutoring in this field.
