Study Skills is one of my top subjects! Throughout my academic career, I have acquired many useful study skills from different schools and teachers. I have various way of taking notes and remembering formulas and criteria. I believe proper studying is the way to pull honor roll GPA's. The only thing I cannot provide is proper sleep and a snack to keep their brain fueled and energized.

I prefer hands on teaching, but I like to remain flexible to the individuals learning style. Depending on the topics covered, we read, write, and do hands-on activities to keep the brain stimulated. Sometimes if applicable, and with parental consent, we would do art projects and maybe watch an educational film (that the parent has approved of course). For sciences and social studies I really like the idea of field trips, but everything will be permitted by the parental figures first. These field trips usually include going to parks and observing natural habitats, or even visiting the local museums. We can usually negotiate a small group trip which makes the costs slim to none to have these extra curricular activities.
