A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Sonoma State with a BA in English, Single subject emphasis. I am taking a year off before I go back to get my teaching credential in reading. The majority of my classes were geared towards the teaching of reading and writing and I feel confident in my ability to help students improve in those areas. I also worked in a High School writing center and tutored for the past two semesters. I love being around kids and helping them. Currently I live in Tahoe City, but am more than willing to drive to Reno or other areas as well.

I enjoy working with kids and teaching the things that I have learned. I continued my studies in chemistry and additional areas of interest, including math, government, and economics. Before graduating I participated in an NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates at UC Riverside.
