I have no teaching experience therefore I have no teaching style. If I were a teacher I would teach the kids the information, have a question session and then review the information in a game type format. The kids will learn if you make the information interesting and fun. That way you will get thier attention.

As an active member of my community, in the form of pageantry, volunteering, and leadership, I have always enjoyed instructing others. Currently, I love my job at Midwest Generation as an Instructional Designer of Training. I get to train Engineers and Office Managers on subjects I knew little about, and have grown in responsibility and development. I love kids, since my summer camp instruction job I held all throughout High School as well as an active instructor at my church. I just graduated from Illinois State University about a year ago, and am recently educated and knowledgeable in all subjects, especially English, Social Studies, and Math. From my tutoring experience in college, I have learned that everyone has a different learning style. In order to be an excellent tutor, one needs to adapt to their tutee’s needs. One also needs to be patient with their tutee. It is very important to be able to explain a problem in several different ways in case the first few ways do not make sense to the tutee. I believe that the best way for a student to learn is through practice and determination. I do not hand the answers to my tutees, but rather I guide them through the problem so they are able to do the next one by themselves. I enjoy tutoring math and economics to students and receive great joy from their successes.
