I have two different teaching styles depending on whether I am in a preschool setting or middle school type setting. I enjoy a very positive an inviting atmosphere where my students are comfortable while creating a community of learners. I have a strong sense of authority that is initially established, coming from such a young age. I do not expect any more from one student than I would another. My #1 goal is to help each of my students reach his or her ultimate academic potential. Every student has the ability to succeed academically. I believe that children learn best when concepts can be taught/explained to them in their own terms.
