I was an elementary teacher, I am endorsed in Art, General Science, Home Economics, Language Arts and Social Science at the middle school level. During my full time teaching career, taught T.I.M.S.(integrated math/science) and conducted hands on science labs. I organized the Science Fair, mentored new teachers, directed the after school program in reading, math and hands on learning acitvities.

I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I also have experience in 7th and 8th grade. My strengths are teaching math strategies such as facts, multi-step problems and algebra. I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes.
