I don't have a style. When I left high school in rural Iowa I was told I was retarded and would never even be able to write a check. At age 38 when struggling through Iowa State my chem teacher sent me to be tested for learning disabilities and I had multiple learning disabilities but an above average IQ. I don't teach I allow the student to learn in an environment where they are listened to, talked with(not to) and treated like they have value and worth. I treat them the opposite way I was treated. And when they do well we cheer together!

I have earned a BA in Biology and Basic Science and a MS Ed in Science Education and have used those degrees to teach successfully physical science, chemistry, and physics in high schools and biology (both majors and non-majors), physics (both calculus- and algebra-based),and chemistry for health sciences in community colleges.
