A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. Throughout school, I also played every woodwind instrument except the Oboe. While in college, I took every Agricultural Education class offered, as it is my intended area of post graduate study, and gained a grasp of educational psychology, classroom management and lesson planning.

While there I had the opportunity to tutor in their community music program and took classes on studio teaching. Besides teaching credentials My music career has given me the opportunity to perform extensively on both Oboe and Flute in the US and the Bahamas.
