I am a visual person so I like to teach by example. I will usually explain how to do a process, show an example, and then ask the student to repeat. This not only helps them learn the necessary tools and skill, but also gives them the feeling of accomplishment when they can see the actual process live right in front of them. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2008 with honors receiving my Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree specializing in Graphic Design. I moved to Columbus,Ohio two and a half years ago to work for a landscape architecture firm doing web design. In November of 2008 I started working for Safe Auto Insurance Company and now hold the title of Emerging Media and Design Coordinator. I received an honors degree from Fairborn High School and Wright State University. Education has always been very important to me. While attending WSU for fine arts, I was reminded of my passion for teaching and decided to also acquire my art education certification.
