I have over a year of experience tutoring college students at Jacksonville State University's Academic Center for Excellence and immediately following that nearly another year of experience tutoring dyslexic youths at the Dyslexia Clinic in Oxford, AL. A Little Bit About Me...

I do not have a particular teaching style because I don't believe that a single method works for everyone. Therefore, I operate from an Occam's Razor perspective -- whatever is the simplest solution is the best. I believe I am very empathetic and perceptive, which would enable me to determine what works best for each student.
Admittedly, I have no direct (structured) teaching experience. However, I have nearly five years of experience in the journalism field, and during that time I've mentored a number of fledgling college and high school journalists. And while journalism and political science are my two specialties -- given that I have degrees in both -- I also have a fair amount of expertise in the tangential fields of English and History.
