I believe there are no bad students, just bad methods of teaching. Therefore, I have sought out the best methods of teaching to aid my students in understanding a subject, building on the basics. I have used these methods successfully as a homebound instructor for middle school and high school students. I also have experience working with ‘learning disabled’ and remedial level students in the third grade. Currently, I tutor community college students in Algebra and assist with English Composition proof-reading.

I am a fun of verbalization of math concepts. I encourage my students to demonstrate their level of understanding of the material I teach to narratives, summarizing and sharing of knowledge with other students.
