I have over a year of experience tutoring college students at Jacksonville State University's Academic Center for Excellence and immediately following that nearly another year of experience tutoring dyslexic youths at the Dyslexia Clinic in Oxford, AL. I use age appropriate workbooks to help children to practice English. I read enjoyable books to children and have them read back to me while questioning them on the logic and content of the books. I have computer software learning equipment, learning games, learning blocks, flash cards, etc. that helps children to develop a love for reading/English. I am good at evaluating a child and determining which grade level he/she is at and trying to advance them to their current grade level.
