My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on. I worked 8 years as a Chemical Engineer, and 4 years as a Control Systems Engineer on missile defense. I stayed home for 12 years to raise my children, then returned and got my masters to teach Chemistry. I spent a year in Spain teaching English to elementary school students through games and interactive methods. I tutored Auburn students during my time there, and have worked with kids of all ages since I was 12. I am fluent in Spanish and highly proficient in French.
