I have been tutoring grades K-9 for quite a few years. I've also taught a preschool class while in high school. I am currently majoring in Early Childhood Education and Special education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I've participated in numerous afterschool programs to help children succeed and give them the confidence they need to step up to the plate and earn the "A" they deserve.
My teaching style will always be based on the students learning style.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my education, I have come to learn and adapt to many different types of learners. I understand that students many require alternative teaching methods to accommodate to their personal needs and I enjoy the challenge. Personally, I am a visual learner, however I always make my best attempt to address auditory and tactile learners. In doing so, I have seem the motivation in students increase which has been shown in their test scores and overall grades.
As a recent graduate from Slippery Rock University, I have earned my BS in both Elementary Education as well as Special Education. I have worked with the university to tutor fellow college classmates and helped potential teacher candidates succeed in mathematics. I have also gained my certification in middle school mathematics.
