1980- 2015: worked for Nestle as food research chemist and retired in June 2015. Part of my job as a lead research scientist was to supervise and mentor interns. I was also a member of a team that provided training to Nestle employees globally on a regular basis. 1968-1980: Taught Chemistry (College Level) at the University of the East in the Philippines and at Los Angeles Valley College (Community College) in Los Angeles. I really starting to help tutor people in high school. I found out that I enjoy helping people with there challenges and watching them succeed. I belive the key to teaching is Patience! Not everyone learns the same way so you cant always teach the same way. The best way to teach is to find the way that the individaul learns whether its through reading, seeing, or listening to the material.
