I believe that every child has the ability to be a successful learner, and I enjoy watching my students grow and improve at different paces. My goal is to make each child feel comfortable in their learning environment, while challenging each student according to their level of ability. I enjoy catering to the students learning style. I like to identify the students strong and weak points, and find ways to use what the student already has, to make his or her weak points stronger. I enjoy teaching through experience and take a very active approach in engaging the student.
I have been a private instructor of guitar and music theory for over 5 years. I have taught as a native speaker of English in Korea over a year. I have worked in private tutoring, as well as classroom settings.
