I view teaching as integral to my life, and I am passionate about giving an exceptional education to people. I currently teach academic writing at Tompkins Cortland Community College, and Purchase College. In addition, I have over 15 years experience teaching acting to children, teens and young adults.
My goal is to instill habits and skill sets in my students that change learning from a laborious, anxiety ridden process to a spontaneous and empowering one. We learn most from our mistakes, and so therefore, there is no such thing as failure. A Little Bit About Me...

My most recent experience was as apreschool teacher. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college. To this day, I am involved in my newphews schoolwork, and help him to write book reports and research papers. That is my specialty area.
