A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children for many years and in many different settings. I have observed so many different learning styles and I strive, as a teacher, to be flexible enough to help a child learn using their strengths. I do not expect perfection but I do expect my students to work to their potential. I also believe that my students need to feel as though they can openly discuss any problems or concerns with me. I believe that the learning process is a group effort. My goal as a teacher is to provide a learning environment that will enable students to learn, grow, and feel good about themselves.

I believe that all children have the capability to learn if someone is willing to be patient and work with them. I enjoy having fun with youth while learning and teaching those I work with the value of what they are learning. I graduated with a degree in Physical Science Education, which gives me a strong background in Physical Sciences and in math.
