My comments on tutoring Grammar : Very experienced with proper grammar and sentence construction, as well as verbs, verb tenses, adverbs, adjectives, and their proper use.

I have taught classes on aviation related subjects for my Civil Air Patrol. I was homeschooled all the way to the college level, and I remember a lot of subjects in great detail. I have not taught classes at a high school or college. Generally speaking, I have a vast area of knowledge and I know I can help you with your learning needs!
I will ask the student how they learn a subject the best, and help them with their problem by reinforcing basic concepts and then adding on to those concepts. Also, I am a motivator; I will help the student understand that the subject is learnable and maybe even enjoyable to learn!

I try to take a hands-on approach to teaching when possible. I find it helpful to use varied and often unusual objects and materials when teaching a lesson; it tends to make the material more memorable. However I am not above using the standard pencil/paper/textbook approach when needed.

I had access to 2 long-term teaching positions. The first was for high school special education in history and the second was for 8th grade language arts. It was my job to try to "trick" the scales before they could become available for commercial use. I moved back home to Coshocton when I got married.
