I do not have any previous experience with a real tutoring job but I have been seen as a tutor before by my classmates. My strongest subject is math, but I am also decent in writing. Whenever asked for help by a friend, I would always try my best to help them. Even if it means digging through my notebooks or through the textbook.

I graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Degree in Pre-PT which involved taking courses that required the knowledge and understanding of math.Physics, Chemistry and statistics are courses that fostered my understanding of math. AP Calculus is my highest exposure to math. I have experience in Algebra one, two and Pre-Calculus. I want my student to leave each session with a sense of success and positivity. Most of the students who require tutoring have trouble building on previous lessons they have learned. The problem is if a student fails to learn a concept in class by the time the teacher moves on, he/she will be left behind from that point on. The job of a tutor is to find these hold ups and patch them with a customized lesson plan to fit the students learning patterns. This is what i will do and i personally promise results in under a month I've always enjoyed helping others understand mathematics. During my high school years i would voluntarily help my friends, and the classmates near me keep up with class lectures and provide them with tips to help them complete take home assignments. I know the importance of having a personalized method of teaching according to the individual and their specific needs. No one learns the same so we should not be taught the same!

I like to keep things simple, in class they make it sound complicated but in reality the process is quite the opposite and I can demonstrate effective ways to study and master the topics I am educated in. I can relate to most students, since I am only 19 years old and I'm a student myself at Fresno State University. I have been at the top of my class in Mathematics ever since the first grade. In 7th grade I took and passed Algebra 1, which is a 9th grade level class. Ever since that I've taken classes in math that are two years ahead of my grade, up to Calculus 2 in 11th grade. I received my Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the American Public University system in May, 2011, and graduated with Honors and a 4.0 GPA.
