My teaching style is unquie, original, and creative. I was a teaching assistant for three of my four years at the University of Delaware. I taught courses, as well as tutored students and graded exams. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience in sciences and english, specifically biology and microbiology, as well as excellent grammar skills.
I believe teaching others a skill or new information is a gift, to both myself and the student. When the light goes off in their head, and the "I got it!" look comes across their face, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I am very patient, and understand that each student learns at their own speed. Additionally, I know that each student is different, which will sometimes require a new teaching technique. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student who has dabbled in so many areas, it is easy for me to assess when a teacher/professor is not explaining a concept in a method that helps the students. I like to see how much of what they are learning they currently understand and use that to help them put the rest of the pieces together. I learn from them how they learn and do my best to assist them in that way. Repetition and visual aids are usually the way I approach tutoring otherwise. I think helping them see what we are doing and the progress they have made through repeated exercises reinforces what they know and helps them retain better that they do not.
