I work with all different types of learners such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and read write when it comes to students. I make sure that the children and adults will understand the course material and subject matter they are working on of their own academics.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began my (formal) teaching career as a Peace Corps volunteer in the countries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan where I taught English as a foreign language to the students ranging from the 3rd to the 11th grade, working with the local teachers in the host countries, and gaining valuable cultural and international insights. After coming back to the States, I became a substitute teacher for the Stockton School for Adults where I taught ESL, computer skills, English, and math to immigrants, senior citizens, high school students, and post-high school students. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children and young people all my adult life from teaching VBS as a teenager to presently being a tutor and substitute teacher. When you meet me in person you will immediately feel that I am someone who relates well with children and teens. I get to know students on a personal level and find out their learning style and modes of learning. I also assess their current skill level and knowledge of the subject so that I know where from where to start.
