In my experience I have found that it is always better to not only provide the didactic, but with it there must also be an ability for the student to relate personally. I believe anyone can teach a subject, having enough knowledge of a subject allows one to pass it on. However, I feel what many teachers do not do is teach students how to learn. It is in my belief that teaching students to learn enables them to think independently allowing them to become more creative rather than repetitive.
